A civilian resident of Gorlovka was injured during shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on April 29 by the mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko.

"As a result of the shelling of the village of Shakhty named after V. I. Lenin from the positions of the Ukrainian Nazis, a civilian resident of Gorlovka was wounded last night," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

On April 27, Prikhodko reported that three civilians in Gorlovka had been injured due to shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He clarified that the militants were firing at the Komsomolets residential area.
