Fraud in obtaining a farm development grant was revealed in North Ossetia

In North Ossetia, the police revealed the embezzlement of 6 million rubles allocated for the development of a horse breeding farm. This was announced by the Russian Interior Ministry on April 29.

According to the agency, a 46-year-old resident of the village of Farn received a grant of 6 million rubles for the development of a livestock farm, pledging to purchase 75 horses of the Karachai breed. However, he did not use the money for its intended purpose. To hide the fraud, he conspired with the 56-year-old head of the Animal diseases service, they provided false information to the Ministry of Agriculture about the alleged correct expenditure of the grant.

"Police officers detained the suspects. They became defendants in a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the agency's Telegram channel says.

On April 23, a 34-year-old man suspected of stealing and selling icons was detained in the Moscow region. It is specified that the attacker stole nine shrines from four houses. The man explained that he had sold some of the stolen goods through an online classifieds service.
