The imposition of import tariffs by US President Donald Trump has led to negative economic consequences, including in the field of airlines such as Boeing. This was announced on April 29 by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China.

"The use of duties by the United States has seriously affected the stability of global production and supply chains, as well as disrupted the international air transportation market. Many companies are unable to carry out normal trade and investment activities, and Chinese airlines and the American Boeing Corporation have been seriously affected," the ministry said.

At the same time, the Ministry noted its readiness to support economic cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier, on April 27, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) newspaper reported that Chinese companies were moving their production to the United States in order to avoid high tariffs. According to Zhu Ning, the head of a consulting firm that helps Chinese enterprises partially relocate production to the United States, his company has received at least 100 requests to transfer business from China to the United States over the past four months.
