CNN named the number of civil servants dismissed by Trump in the United States.

As part of US President Donald Trump's policy to reduce the number of government employees, at least 121 thousand people lost their jobs. This was reported on April 28 by CNN, citing its own calculations.
"According to an analysis of official statements, internal memos of government officials and news reports conducted by CNN, in the three months since the beginning of President Donald Trump's second term, at least 121 thousand federal employees have been fired or suspended," the broadcaster said.
At the same time, this number does not include those who were forcibly sent on long-term leave or agreed to voluntarily leave their position subject to monetary compensation.
On April 15, the WP newspaper reported that more than 22,000 employees of the US tax service agreed to resign at Trump's request. Employees who accept the deal will be placed on paid administrative leave until September, and then will leave their federal positions.
On March 29, the media reported on the dismissals of Yale and Harvard employees under pressure from Trump. Higher education institutions are forced to say goodbye to employees because of the government's demand to combat anti-Semitism. Otherwise, they are threatened with being deprived of federal funding. Also earlier, the Harvard School of Public Health suspended its partnership with Birzeit University in the West Bank.
