The DPRK delegation flew to Russia to participate in the anti-fascist conference


Representatives of the Korean People's Army (KPA) of the DPRK flew to Russia to participate in the 3rd International Anti-Fascist Conference. This was reported on April 29 by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
"A delegation of the Korean People's Army headed by Deputy Chief of the Main Political Directorate Pak Yong Il flew from Pyongyang on April 28 to participate in the 3rd International Anti-Fascist Conference to be held in Russia," the agency reports.
The delegation was accompanied at the Pyongyang International Airport by the military attache at the Russian Embassy in the DPRK.
On April 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked the Korean People's Army special forces soldiers who took part in the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) group in the Kursk region. The Head of State noted that the actions of the Korean military fully complied with international law and the spirit of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, signed on June 19, 2024.
At the same time, the Central Telegraphic Agency of the DPRK reported that special forces from the republic were sent to participate in hostilities in the Russian Federation by decision of Kim Jong-un. The agency stressed that the Korean side will continue to support the "sacred cause of the Russian army and people."
