The EC told about the terms of opening negotiations on Moldova's accession to the EU

The European Commission told Izvestia that it expects to start negotiations on thematic clusters ahead of Moldova's EU speech "as soon as possible".
"Provided Moldova fulfills all conditions, the Commission expects to open negotiations on the clusters, starting from the basics, as soon as possible in 2025," the European Commission said.
Moldova's legislative screening process started early last year. In order to join the EU, the republic must bring its regulations in line with EU legislation within six thematic clusters - "core values", "internal market", "competition and inclusive growth", "green agenda and sustainable connectivity", "natural resources, agriculture and cohesion policy" and, finally, "external relations".
