An improvised bomb explosion killed 26 people in Nigeria.


At least 26 people have died in Nigeria as a result of a homemade bomb explosion. This was reported on Monday, April 28, by the Reuters news agency, citing local residents.
It is specified that the explosive device was detonated in Borno State in the northeast of the country.
Earlier, on April 25, it was reported that at least 20 people were killed in northwestern Nigeria as a result of a militant attack on a village in Zamfara State.
Prior to that, on April 20, it was reported that at least 56 people were killed due to a militant attack in Benue State in Nigeria. It is assumed that the attack was carried out by an ethnic group of pastoralists.
