FT reported on Europe's fear of a possible US withdrawal from negotiations on Ukraine

European countries fear a possible refusal by the United States to participate in negotiations to resolve the crisis in Ukraine. This was reported on April 28 by the Financial Times (FT).
"[US President Donald] Trump is preparing a situation in which he will have an excuse to withdraw himself, and Ukraine and we (the leaders of European countries. — Ed.) we will have to fix everything," the interlocutors of the publication from Western countries said.
It is noted that representatives of the United States are currently concerned about Russia's refusal to make concessions on a number of issues related to the settlement of the conflict and the future fate of Ukraine.
US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met on April 25 before the funeral of Pope Francis at the Vatican. Zelensky called the meeting with Trump good and thanked him, expressing hope for "achieving common results."
