Private Samonov brought a car with a load of ammunition out from under the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Private Mikhail Samonov in the area of the special military operation (SVO) was tasked with delivering ammunition to Russian positions near the line of contact. On the way, he was covered by enemy artillery fire. The Russian Ministry of Defense on Tuesday, April 29, announced the exploits of Russian servicemen.

Samonov's car, with its headlights off, was moving along a difficult route at night, but on the way it still came under artillery fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The car was hit, and the soldier himself was injured. Nevertheless, the transport remained capable of movement. Despite being wounded, Samonov pulled the car out from under fire and headed for his destination, as a result of which he successfully delivered the necessary ammunition to the Russian military.

The Defense Ministry also noted the courageous and decisive actions of Private Alexander Mysin, who was tasked with delivering personnel of the Russian Armed Forces to the line of combat contact.

The vehicle had already successfully arrived at its destination and the assault group had disembarked when a machine-gun crew of the Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire on them from a camouflaged position. Mysin quickly got his bearings, identified the location of the firing point and eliminated it with shots from the standard armament of the armored personnel carrier (BPR). Mysin then continued to fire at the enemy until the assault group gained a foothold in the position. Having successfully landed and provided cover for the Russian military, Mysin set off on his return journey.

According to the Russian president, conditions have now appeared for further successful actions by our troops in other sectors of the front.

Earlier, on April 28, the Ministry of Defense reported that the commander of the BARS-2 detachment, Ivan Levin, together with the personnel entrusted to him, carried out tasks to organize defense in one of the important tactical areas.
