Vance warned of the danger of nuclear war due to the conflict in Ukraine

US Vice President Jay Dee Vance believes that in the absence of a settlement, the conflict in Ukraine could lead to a nuclear war. He made the corresponding statement on April 28 in an interview with Charlie Kirk's online show, published on YouTube.
"If this continues for a few more years, we may face the collapse of society. The demographics of both of these countries are a nightmare. If this continues for a few more years, millions of people could die, and it could escalate into a nuclear war," Vance said.
He noted that the current American administration of US President Donald Trump is working diligently on the issue of conflict resolution.
On April 23, Vance said that the United States could withdraw from negotiations on a peaceful settlement in Ukraine if Washington's proposals were not accepted in Moscow and Kiev. He clarified that the United States had made a "very clear proposal" for Russia and Ukraine on the path to a peace agreement. According to him, the conditions stipulate that each of the parties to the conflict will have to give up part of the controlled territory.
