On April 28, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova pointed out the extremist nature of Kiev's ideology in connection with the approving statement by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about carrying out terrorist attacks in Russia.

"We regularly talk about the terrorist nature, the extremist ideology of the Kiev regime. The catastrophe on the battlefield is forcing these neo—Nazis to increase their terrorist activity," she commented to Izvestia.

Zakharova also stressed that Ukraine's sponsors from NATO, who are "pumping" Kiev with weapons and money, are responsible for such actions. In her opinion, such a position could lead to an increase in terrorism all over the world.

On April 25, a car explosion occurred on Nesterov Boulevard in the Aviatorov microdistrict in Balashikha, resulting in the death of Lieutenant General Moskalik. The explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device. Investigators have opened a criminal case on this fact. He is being investigated by the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
