Diesel fuel caught fire in the industrial area of Novorossiysk


A diesel fuel fire has occurred in the industrial zone of Novorossiysk. This was announced on April 28 by the head of the Hero City Novorossiysk municipality Andrey Kravchenko.
"A diesel fuel tank caught fire in the industrial area of Kirillovka village. The fire spread to nearby cars and containers," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Kravchenko added that 27 people and eight fire brigades were involved in extinguishing the fire. In addition, he noted that the cause of the fire will be determined after extinguishing.
According to him, there were no casualties as a result of the incident, and there is also no threat of fire spreading.
On April 16, it became known that a rubber processing plant in Kursk had caught fire on an area of 1 thousand square meters. Later, Alexander Khinstein, acting governor of the Kursk region, said that structures had collapsed at the site of the fire. However, he added that there is no threat to residential buildings due to the remoteness of the industrial facility.
Later, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation completely eliminated the fire at the enterprise.
