US President Donald Trump should not interfere in the Canadian elections. This was announced on April 28 by the leader of the main opposition Conservative Party of Canada, Pierre Pouillevre, on the social network page X (former. Twitter).

"President Trump, stay out of our election," he wrote.

According to him, the people of Canada will be able to determine the future of their country through the electoral process. The politician also noted that Canada will never become the 51st state of the United States.

On the same day, Trump called on Canada to join the United States on the Truth Social network. He promised to contribute to improving the quality of life of the country's residents, strengthening the economy and defense potential.
