18 forest fires were eliminated in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Over the weekend, 18 forest fires were extinguished in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The total gorenje area was more than 330 hectares.

Fires were recorded in Kansky, Sayansky, Yemelyanovsky, Uyarsky, Rybinsky, Nizhneingashsky, Achinsky, Berezovsky, Sheshensky and Novoselovsky districts. This is reported by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. About 400 people and 70 pieces of equipment participated in the extinguishing.

The main cause of the fires was the human factor.

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, investigators have opened three criminal cases of negligence that led to the development of forest fires. As a result of the rapid spread of the fire, residential buildings, country houses and a storage of fuels and lubricants caught fire.
