The Houthis from the rebel Yemeni Ansar Allah movement launched several strikes on the American aircraft carrier Harry Truman in response to the US attacks on Yemen. This was announced on April 28 by the official representative of the group Yahya Saria.

"In response to the aggression of [the United States] <...>, the armed forces attacked an American aircraft carrier, warships, and engaged them in battle during a joint operation conducted by naval, air force, and missile forces using cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and drones in recent hours," he said. in his Telegram channel.

According to him, as a result of the collision, the American ship retreated from its previous position. He headed to the north of the Red Sea. Saria also noted that the Armed Forces will continue to pursue the US aircraft carrier and warships in the Red and Arabian Seas until the aggression against Yemen stops.
