Russians have listed the most desirable car brands for the return

Among the car brands, Russians are most looking forward to the return of Kia and Hyundai brands to the Russian market. This follows from the results of a survey published on April 28 by Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, in his Telegram channel.

Kia and Hyundai came in first place in the survey, with 31% of respondents voting for them. Toyota is in second place (29% of the votes). Volkswagen holds the third position (27%). BMW and Skoda are next, with 23% of the votes each. Mercedes-Benz (15%), Audi (14%) and Mazda (10%) rounded out the list.

2% of respondents mentioned other car brands in the comments. One in six (17%) replied that they were not waiting for anyone at all. The total result of brand shares is more than 100%, as it was possible to choose several response options.

More than 1,000 people took part in the survey, it was conducted on April 25-27 in the audience of Autostat Telegram channels.

Earlier, on March 25, car market experts reported that if foreign car brands that previously operated in Russia return to the country's market, then you should not expect lower prices for cars. When imported, the cost of cars will be significantly higher than it was two or three years ago.

On March 13, car dealers said that rumors about the possible return of departed car brands were disorienting customers and raising false hopes through nostalgia about returning "the way it was before." There are no prerequisites for the return of the departed car brands in 2025. None of the big players will return until most of the sanctions on the car business are lifted, they are sure.
