A new X-ray machine has been commissioned at the Dresden Hospital of the Moscow Region, which is a division of the Orekhovo-Zuyevskaya Hospital. The regional Ministry of Health announced this on Monday, April 28.

"Today, the 23rd X-ray machine has been launched in the region since the beginning of the year. In total, more than 625 million rubles were allocated for these purposes, of which almost 29 million rubles were allocated for the purchase of equipment at Orekhovo-Zuyevskaya Hospital," commented Maxim Zabelin, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government and Minister of Health.

According to him, work on the purchase of modern medical equipment will continue. The new technique allows doctors to make more accurate diagnoses, which means choosing the most appropriate treatment tactics, the head of the Ministry of Health noted.

According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the equipment was purchased at the Dresden Hospital under the national project "Long and active Life."

On April 17, it was reported that 38 units of new heavy medical equipment had been put into operation in hospitals in the Moscow Region since the beginning of 2025, of which exactly half were X—ray machines.
