Kurt Cobain's broken guitar sold for $101.5 thousand.

The guitar, smashed by Nirvana founder Kurt Cobain, was sold to a collector from Texas for $ 101.5 thousand. This was announced on April 28 by the TMZ portal with reference to the president of the Gottahaverockandroll music auction, Dylan Kosinski.
It is specified that only five people made 11 bets, the minimum of which was $ 30 thousand.
Cobain smashed a white Fender Stratocaster guitar back in 1992 during a tour. Despite the fact that the musical instrument was restored, Cobain no longer played it.
According to the portal, then the guitar went to one of the team members who worked with the band in 1991-1993. The authenticity of the musical instrument was confirmed by technician John Duncan, who worked with Nirvana.
