In the Orekhovo-Zuyevo suburb of Moscow, a ten-month-old child was poisoned by an electronic cigarette. This was reported on April 28 in the press service of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region.
"A 10-month-old child, staying at home with his parents, found an electronic cigarette, inhaled it, after which he started coughing and convulsing... Upon the fact of the incident, an investigator of the territorial investigation department of the GSU of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region initiated a criminal case under Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (failure to fulfill duties on raising a minor)," the agency said in a Telegram channel.
As indicated in the UK, the parents immediately went to the hospital, where doctors provided the child with all necessary medical care. Currently, his life and health are not in danger. Currently, a complex of investigative actions is being carried out, all the circumstances of the incident are being established.
Earlier, on March 10, in St. Petersburg, a teenager was hospitalized after igniting an electronic cigarette that he was smoking in bed. The bedding was burnt on an area of 0.5 sq. m. The corner of the bed where the minor was was also charred.
