In honor of the Day of the Ambulance Worker, a themed train dedicated to the ambulance service was launched on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line of the Moscow metro, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"The capital's transport complex supports important urban projects on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. By the Day of the Emergency Medical Worker, we have launched a new themed train that will run along the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line for six months. Previously, Troika themed cards dedicated to the capital's medicine were released, and a branded train with thanks to medical workers was launched. Since last year, for the comfort of ambulance drivers, work has been underway to improve traffic conditions at 19 medical institutions in the capital," Liksutov said.

The train, which will run for six months, is decorated in the style of cars of the capital's medical service, inside there is information about the work of the teams and their modern equipment. In the carriages, you can see an image of a unique extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) device used to treat severe heart and lung diseases. In addition, on the train you can find out the contents of a medical briefcase, compare the principles of operation of the Soviet and modern ambulance services and learn about the digitalization of the capital's medicine. Special attention was paid to the service staff — dispatchers, doctors, paramedics and drivers.
