The weather forecaster predicted a rainy and cold week in Moscow

Cloudy weather is expected in Moscow and the region during the week from April 28 to May 4. Atmospheric pressure will change significantly throughout the week, and cyclones will determine the weather. Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonosti news agency, told Izvestia about this on April 28.

According to her, no precipitation is expected on Monday, and the temperature will gradually rise and reach +10...+12 degrees. However, cyclones will determine the weather in the following days.

"At first it will be an Atlantic cyclone, it will approach us from St. Petersburg, and at the end of the holidays the weather will already be determined by the periphery of the Caspian cyclone, so atmospheric pressure will change significantly during these upcoming days, rising and falling," explained the forecaster.

She added that the weather will be cloudy all week with occasional clearings. Light rain is expected in some places on Tuesday. According to the expert, on the afternoon of April 29, the rain will be heavier, but short-lived. In total, up to 8-9 mm of precipitation is expected on this day.

"Due to the fact that the wind will already change to the west, frosts will leave the capital region, +4... +6 degrees are expected to be minimal in Moscow on Tuesday, and +2...+7 degrees in the region. But in the afternoon [on April 29], the air temperature will be low, because there will be a lot of rain, which means that the maximum on Tuesday in the city is +8...+10 degrees, in the region — +8 ...+11 degrees," Pozdnyakova said.

In addition, according to the expert, there will be a fairly dense wind on Tuesday with gusts up to 12-14 meters per second. On Wednesday, the weather will also be cloudy with clarifications, in addition, rain is expected.

Meanwhile, the daytime temperature in Moscow on April 30 will reach +10...+12 degrees due to clear weather conditions. +7...+12 degrees is expected in the Moscow region. On May 1, according to the forecaster, the weather will be cloudy with clarifications.

"For now, we are leaving some short-term rain in places, but the situation is very controversial about the first day. Therefore, today the vision of the process is that the minimum temperature will be within +1...+6 degrees, the daytime temperature will be around +7...+10 degrees," Pozdnyakova clarified.

According to her, it will also be cloudy on May 2, with light rain in places. At night, the temperature will reach +1...+6 degrees, during the day — +10 ...+15 degrees. The wind will gradually change direction to the south-east.

Light rain is expected on May 3, the temperature at night is +3...+8 degrees, during the day — +13...+18 degrees.

"That is, the air temperature will remain below the climatic norm, about one and a half degrees. No more than that. We will expect that at the end of the holidays the air temperature will at least approach the climatic norm," concluded the forecaster.
