War correspondents, along with soldiers, went through the entire war
with a camera, showing miracles of heroism in the most difficult conditions. They took pictures under shelling and bombing, in trenches, on ships.
and airfields, in partisan detachments, besieged cities and in the rear. The enormous talent and dedication of frontline reporters allowed us to create an invaluable creative legacy of the war years.

Many of the works presented at the photo exhibition went down in the history of world photography. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to get acquainted with the biographies of famous military officers, including: Evgeny Khaldei, Dmitry Baltermants, Anatoly Morozov, Max Alpert, and others, as well as see legendary photographs of the war years, which have become classics of photographic art.

The exhibition's exposition will be supplemented with QR codes, after scanning which you can see "revived" photographs from the Great Patriotic War and listen to the recording of Yuri Levitan's voice reading out the operational summary of the Soviet Information Bureau.

The photo exhibition "War correspondents on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War" will be presented to visitors from May 1 to May 14, 2025, at the address: Gogol Boulevard, opposite house 29.
