In June, the demand for holidays abroad increased among tourists with children. This follows from the data of the OneTwoTrip travel planning service, which was reviewed by Izvestia on April 29. This year, the share of foreign orders has increased by one and a half times and reached 31%.

In Russia, tourists most often choose apartments, guest houses and other accommodation facilities without stars for June holidays with children — they account for 40% of orders. At the same time, 50% of travelers with children plan to rest from four to seven days.

Over the past year, Russians have become more interested in Nizhny Novgorod and Zelenograd, where hotel bookings have tripled in 12 months. Twice as many travelers with children chose Pyatigorsk for their holidays, the demand for holidays in Veliky Novgorod increased by 44%, and in Kazan by 10%.

In other countries, Russian families prefer to stay in four—star hotels, accounting for 31% of bookings. The average trip duration ranges from four to seven days.

Experts noted a significant increase in demand for visits to Rome ― the Italian capital will attract five times more travelers in June 2025 (the share of destinations reaches 3.6%).

Earlier, on April 18, OneTwoTrip reported that St. Petersburg became the most popular city among Russian travelers in May. The Northern Capital accounts for 19.7% of hotel orders. Sochi came in second place, where 11.9% of tourists will be vacationing in May. Moscow is in third place (11.8%).
