In the village of Novopavlovka in the Trans-Baikal Territory, four houses burned down due to the passage of a natural fire. This was announced on April 28 by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Trans-Baikal Territory.

"The fire destroyed four residential buildings on 800 square meters, the spread of flames over a large area is not allowed," said a message posted on the Telegram channel.

It is specified that at the moment, dry grass is burning on 200 hectares. To prevent fires, an additional Mi-8 helicopter with 15 rescuers on board and an IL-76 aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations were sent from Chita.

According to the press service of the department, the victims of the fire are in a temporary accommodation facility.

Earlier, on April 27, specialists involved IL-76 aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations to extinguish fires in the Trans-Baikal Territory. Aviation performed four drains and dumped 168 thousand liters of water.

In addition, on April 25, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported that since the beginning of wildfires, specialists in Transbaikalia have protected 30 settlements from the passage of fire. In addition, the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations eliminated the flames on 52 hectares.
