- Actress Lisovaya told about the most difficult scene in the TV series "Operation Carpathians"

Actress Maria Lisova, who played the role of Angelina in the second part of the series "Operation Carpathians", spoke on April 28 about the most difficult scene.
In 1949, after the end of the war, violence persisted in western Ukraine: Bandera fighters hiding in the forests continued their crimes. They were opposed by a secret agent nicknamed Raven and a Soviet intelligence officer Ekaterina Volkova. In the center of the plot is Angelina, the criminal's sister, who, having fallen in love with Raven, changes her views and becomes a murderer.
Actress Lisovaya, who played the role of Angelina, noted the difficulties of filming.
"Heavy rain. We were riding in a cart, and it was one of the most difficult scenes. And Angelina, my heroine, has never had this before. Such a breakthrough and rethinking of everything that is happening around her," she said.
The director of the series, Mikhail Agranovich, focused on the transformation of the heroine. According to him, she begins to understand her surroundings through love. However, Angelina's fate remains uncertain until the very end of the film.
It is noted that historians specializing in the topic of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (an extremist and terrorist organization banned in Russia) were involved in writing the script.
The action-packed series, based on real events, will be released on REN TV on Sunday, May 4, at 2:30 p.m.
On April 27, it was reported that the new season of the series "Operation Carpathians" will reveal unknown details of the fight against the bandit underground in Transcarpathia in the post-war years. The main character, Lieutenant Voronovsky, is tasked with infiltrating a group of bandits. Because of this, his story was riddled with moral dilemmas.
