Alcohol sales will be restricted in the Krasnoyarsk Territory during the holidays

Restrictions on the retail sale of alcohol will be introduced in the Krasnoyarsk Territory during the May holidays. This is reported by KrasnoyarskMedia news agency with reference to the city administration.

From May 1 to May 4, as well as on May 8 and 9, the sale of alcohol will be prohibited in places where mass events are held. Also, alcohol cannot be sold at retail within a radius of 100 m from the holiday locations.

Such measures are being taken to ensure the safety of residents during the days of preparation and celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In addition to the sale of alcohol, the use of pyrotechnic products will be restricted.

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the permitted time for the sale of alcoholic beverages will be changed in the fall. According to the updated law, trading will be allowed from 12 to 22 hours. Currently, alcohol is sold from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
