Measles was suspected in a child in Chita

A case of suspected measles was registered in Chita. The infection could have been picked up by a one-and-a-half-year-old child who returned from Vietnam.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, the baby was not vaccinated against the disease. Doctors establish a circle of contact persons for immunization, writes ChitaMedia news agency. Currently, 81 people have been vaccinated according to epidemiological indications.

In March, an increase in the incidence of measles was registered in Yekaterinburg. Cases of the disease have been reported among people who have not been vaccinated.
