The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region noted that 1,075 cases of dry grass fall were registered in the region. The total area of wildfires was more than 18.3 thousand square meters. m.

226 acts of administrative violations were filed against residents of the region, TSN24 clarifies.

On April 25, the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced the protection of 30 settlements from fire since the beginning of wildfires in the Trans-Baikal Territory. It was clarified that the specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were able to eliminate the flame on 52 hectares and stop its spread in the village of Zhireken. The village of Zelenoe Ozero was also protected from fire.
