Record low temperatures were recorded in the Moscow suburb of Klin on the night of April 28. This was announced by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos Weather Center.
"Last night's minimum in Klin was -5.9 degrees — there has not been such a low temperature in this city near Moscow since at least the beginning of the 21st century," he wrote on his Telegram channel on April 28.
Leus also added that according to forecasts, these were the last frosts in April.
In addition, the weather forecaster reported on temperature indicators in Mozhaisk, where the minimum temperature dropped to -4.2 degrees. This is 0.7 degrees below the previous record set in 1971.
On the same day, the Hydrometeorological Center predicted warming to +12 degrees in Moscow on April 28. The daytime air temperature will range from +10 to +12 degrees. At night, the thermometer will drop to +4. South-westerly and westerly winds with a speed of 6-12 m/s are expected.
