The third chair, seen at the unscheduled talks between American leader Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, which took place on the eve of the funeral of Pope Francis, was designed for an interpreter, French President Emmanuel Macron was not expected to participate in the negotiations. This was reported on April 27 by The Telegraph newspaper, citing French diplomatic sources.
