Archbishop told about the transition of clerics to the Metropolitanate of Bessarabia

Pressure on the Moldovan church will continue, Archbishop of Balti and Falesti Markell told Izvestia.

"There is no increase in conversions. I want to say that they, as always, deceive, attribute such merits to themselves, but in fact, once again I say, they are nobody and call them nothing exactly from the point of view as clergymen," he said.

The calls of the Metropolitan Church of Bessarabia to move to another jurisdiction can be interpreted as free cheese in a mousetrap, he added.

The Metropolis of Bessarabia offers some material incentives, subsidies, some promotions, and in the end it is nothing but the price of the most stable currency, 30 silver, the archbishop emphasized.
