On April 28, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the exploits of Russian military personnel in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

The ministry noted the merits of the commander of the BARS-2 detachment, Ivan Levin, who, together with the personnel entrusted to him, carried out the tasks of organizing defense in one of the important tactical areas.

The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) gathered forces in the Levin area and were preparing for an offensive. Having received information about this, the commander of the detachment, personally directing the gunners, pointed the gun at the enemy's position and fired.

Thanks to his precise actions, the Ukrainian militants were defeated, their attack was thwarted, and an important tactical area remained under the control of the Russian military.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation drew attention to the actions of Sergeant Maxim Kuzin, who performed the task of equipping mine-explosive barriers in one of the likely areas of the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive.

Under constant fire from artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and enemy mortars, Kuzin arrived at his destination. After that, the sergeant completed the mining and went to a safe place, but on the way he discovered a Ukrainian sniper who controlled an important section of the road and eliminated it.

Thanks to the sergeant's clear actions, two armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a large number of personnel were blown up by mines the next day, as a result of which the enemy retreated and the Russian military were able to take up new positions in an important area.

On April 27, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced the destruction of the temporary deployment point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region by the calculation of the towed Hyacinth-B gun of the Dnepr group. Aerial reconnaissance calculations revealed concentrations of AFU personnel in abandoned buildings on the right bank of the Dnieper River, after which the coordinates of the enemy's LDPE were promptly transferred to the gunners' position.
