The Russian sailors injured as a result of the US airstrike in Yemen were transported to the capital, Sanaa. This was announced on April 27 by a representative of the crew of the oil tanker Seven Pearls.
"I know that three victims are in the capital of Yemen," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He shared that there are 21 Russians in the crew, including citizens with chronic diseases who need to be examined. He clarified that one sailor had a bristle removed and needed a hormonal system check. According to the crew representative, the sailor's condition is currently unstable.
The source clarified that the port administration does not give permission for the ship to leave. According to him, the tanker currently has food, water and medicines, but the crew is demoralized and scared due to possible new attacks.
On the evening of April 26, Jamal Amer, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Houthi government in Sanaa, announced the injured sailors from the Russian Federation. He specified that Roman Kashpor, Igor Kazachenko and Artyom Vanin were injured.
On the morning of the same day, Al Masirah TV channel reported on a series of airstrikes by the United States on the territory of Yemen under the control of the Houthis from the Ansar Allah movement.
