The Dome of Donbass system disrupted 258 attacks by Ukrainian drones on the DPR


The Dome of Donbass air defense and electronic warfare system intercepted 258 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the past week over the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on April 27 by the press service of the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia.
"Over the past week, the Domol Donbas air defense and electronic warfare system has detected and intercepted 258 enemy UAVs over Donetsk, Makeyevka and Horlivka," the report says.
According to the agency, a Ukrainian attack drone with a high-explosive charge designed to blow up a regional electrical substation was intercepted in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk.
In addition, a Darts aircraft-type drone with a live charge and an FPV drone with an improvised explosive device were suppressed in Gorlovka near residential areas. In just a week, 74 enemy drones were intercepted over the territory of Gorlovka.
It is noted that UFSB explosives experts used special technical means to disable the drone controls and destroy explosive objects on the ground. In addition, thanks to a message from residents of Yasinovataya, specialists discovered and destroyed two high-explosive fragmentation munitions in the field.
On April 23, the Russian FSB Directorate for the DPR reported that the Donbass Dome system had prevented an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on an electrical substation in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk. During the operation, a Ukrainian high-explosive attack drone was intercepted, after which explosives experts successfully neutralized it and destroyed explosive objects at the landfill.
