In Balashikha, near Moscow, people bring flowers and lamps to the place where Yaroslav Moskalik, Lieutenant General of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, was killed. Footage from the scene of the death on April 27 is published by Izvestia.

The footage shows that a photograph of the deceased lieutenant general was installed at the site of the explosion in the Aviatorov neighborhood in Balashikha.

On April 25, a car explosion occurred on Nesterov Boulevard in the Aviatorov microdistrict in Balashikha, resulting in the death of Lieutenant General Moskalik. The explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device. Investigators have opened a criminal case on this fact. He is being investigated by the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

On Saturday, April 26, law enforcement officers detained a suspect in the murder of Muscovite Ignat Kuzin. He then confessed. According to Kuzin, in 2023 he was recruited by the Ukrainian special services.

On April 27, Kuzin was charged with committing a terrorist act. He was promised a reward of $18,000 for the murder of a Muscovite.
