A drone crew from the Zapad group destroyed an AFU howitzer in the Kharkiv region

The calculation of an FPV drone of the 1st Guards Tank Army from the Zapad group of forces destroyed a Ukrainian M777 howitzer manufactured by the United States in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on April 27 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is indicated that the servicemen discovered a camouflaged gun position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the forest belt with the help of aerial reconnaissance.

"The detected target was promptly destroyed by the calculation of an FPV reconnaissance drone of the 1st Guards Tank Army. <...> Real-time objective monitoring recorded a direct hit and destruction of an M777 howitzer by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as a strong fire," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the Russian president, conditions have now appeared for further successful actions by our troops in other sectors of the front.

On the morning of the same day, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of the temporary deployment point (LDPE) in the Kherson region by the calculation of the towed Hyacinth-B gun of the Dnepr group. Aerial reconnaissance calculations revealed concentrations of AFU personnel in abandoned buildings on the right bank of the Dnieper River, after which the coordinates of the enemy's LDPE were promptly transferred to the gunners' position.
