Innovator's Day was held in Moscow, the final of the fifth anniversary stream of the Academy of Innovators program. According to the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, the participants signed contracts for 53 million rubles, received total revenue of over 50 million rubles, launched a dozen and a half projects, and brought three projects to international markets, in particular, to China, the United Arab Emirates and Turkmenistan.

"Technology startups, investors and representatives of large businesses gathered at one site, who showed the best developments, exchanged experiences and concluded new agreements," the mayor wrote in his Telegram channel.

Over a thousand guests visited the exhibition space of the startup program and presentations. "The authors of the top 15 projects spoke to potential investors and customers,— Sobyanin said. "During the event, the participants raised a record 71.3 million rubles in investments and grants, and three won grants from the Moscow Venture Fund."

In total, applications for participation in the Academy of Innovators were submitted by about 7 thousand people from almost 200 Russian cities and 12 foreign countries. The most popular areas were IT, education, e-commerce, medicine and industry.

As the mayor emphasized, Moscow is "consistently developing an ecosystem of technology business support." One of the tools for launching and scaling startups in the capital is the Academy of Innovators.

In January, Sobyanin named the Academy of Innovators program among the opportunities being created in Moscow for youth entrepreneurship in the technology sector. The mayor recalled that last year the Moscow Youth Entrepreneurship Hub was launched in the capital, Russia's first center for involving young talents in technology business. More than 32 thousand participants have already joined its ecosystem, who have created more than 1 thousand technology businesses, the mayor said.
