One person died in a fire in a sauna on the tugboat Nabat, moored on the territory of a shipyard in Primorye. This was announced on April 27 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) of Russia for the region.

"Firefighters found the body of a dead 73-year-old man on the upper deck of the vessel during extinguishing. Upon arrival of the firefighters, the sauna, shower room and locker room on the middle deck were on fire, heavy smoke was observed," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

Russian Emergencies Ministry investigators are conducting a fire investigation to determine the cause and all the circumstances of the incident. At the moment, the fire has been eliminated, its area is 15 sq. m.

The press service of the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office later clarified in the Telegram channel that the fire occurred at 11:30 local time (04:30 Moscow time). The Nabat vessel was permanently moored at the mooring wall of Livadia Repair and Shipbuilding Plant LLC (the marine terminal of the Nakhodka South Sea Seaport in the village of Livadia). The Nakhodka Transport Prosecutor's Office is conducting an inspection of compliance with the requirements of the law when organizing the parking of ships.

The day before, a fire occurred in the boiler room of a two-story apartment building in the village of Malaya Brembola in the Pereslavsky district of the Yaroslavl region, resulting in the death of a 15-year-old teenager. It is specified that as a result of the fire, the stairs, walls and interior decoration of the house were damaged, as well as the extension of the building completely burned out. The fire area was 16 sq. m.
