In the Kursk region, a civilian was injured as a result of a night attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a creamery and a school in the Belovsky district. This was announced on April 27 by the acting governor of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.

"At night, Ukrainian aircraft-type drones attacked the Belovsky district. The strike hit a creamery in the village of Belaya and a school in the village of Peschanoe. A fire started in the school building. Unfortunately, as a result of the attack, a man born in 1973 who happened to be nearby was also injured," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Currently, the victim with shrapnel wounds is being treated at the Kursk Regional Hospital.

On April 26, the head of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the liberation of the last settlement captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region. As Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted, following the Kursk region, all other Russian territories will be liberated from Ukrainian militants, and those involved in crimes in the region will be held accountable.
