The acting commander of the 810th Marine Brigade reported to Putin on the situation in the Kursk region.

On April 27, the acting commander of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet with the call sign Groza informed Russian President Vladimir Putin that all remaining single and disparate groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region, they will be destroyed in the near future.

"Comrade Supreme Commander, at the moment we have captured the Gornal settlement, we have gained a foothold on the streets of the settlement. The settlement is completely under our control, and we are clearing the forests located to the west and south of the Gornal settlement, as well as from the Guevo settlement. In the near future, all single and disparate enemy groups will be destroyed," he said during a report to the president, which was shown in a Channel One report.

In addition, the officer, on behalf of the entire brigade, thanked the head of state for congratulations on the liberation of the Kursk region. Soldiers and unit commanders always feel the support of the supreme commander, the brigade commander added.

"We assure you that we will also carry out all tasks with full dedication and patriotism. And they are guaranteed to be fulfilled," he stressed.

Later, Groza conveyed Putin's words of thanks to the unit's personnel to his subordinates. According to the commander, the head of state highly appreciates the actions of the Marines and is proud of them.

On April 26, the head of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, reported on the liberation of the last Kursk village of Gornal from the Ukrainian Armed Forces to Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, the total losses of the Ukrainian army in the Kursk area amounted to more than 76 thousand people. The Head of State congratulated and thanked the personnel of the military units of the Russian Armed Forces who took part in the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region.

On the same day, units of the 22nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces planted the Russian flag in Gornala. The Russian Defense Ministry also released footage from the settlement, showing the operational work of units to liberate the territory from Ukrainian militants.
