A fire with an area of 20 thousand square meters occurred at a landfill of solid household waste (MSW) in the Gorodetsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was announced on April 27 by the head of the district Alexander Mudrov.

"On the night of April 26-27, a fire was again recorded at a landfill belonging to a regional operator. The fire area in the morning is about 20 thousand square meters. m. Maps No. 2 and No. 3 are on fire. Fire services and equipment of the regional operator are operating on the spot," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
