The crew of the Su-35S multirole thrust vector fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) completed a combat mission to escort aviation equipment in the area of responsibility of the South group of forces. This was announced on April 27 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry noted that the purpose of combat duty in the air was to cover the actions of bomber and assault aircraft during air strikes on temporary deployment sites and strongholds of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

It is specified that after completing all the assigned tasks, the crew successfully returned to the home airfield. Russian intelligence stated that all targets were successfully hit.
