Six people are missing after an explosion at a port in Iran.

Six people are missing as a result of an explosion at the Shahid Rajai seaport in Bandar Abbas city in southern Iran. This was reported on April 26 by the Iranian Arabic news agency, citing local police.

"As a result of the explosion in Minah al-Shaheed Rajai, six people were missing," the newspaper wrote on its Telegram channel.

Tasnim agency clarifies in its Telegram channel that there are currently 12 Red Cross aid groups in the region, including 60 operational experts, of which five groups are inside the port and seven groups outside it.

Psychologists are also working on site who are ready to provide psychological and social support services to the families of the missing.

On April 26, an explosion occurred at the Shahid Rajai seaport. The blast wave was so strong that it severely damaged most of the buildings in the port, as well as cars. At least five deaths are reported. The Russian Embassy in Iran expressed its condolences in connection with the explosion at the port.
