The protests of Serbian students in Novi Sad are supported by employees from other fields, including cultural workers, agricultural workers, and other movements and parties. The footage is published by Izvestia on April 26.

According to Izvestia correspondent Sergei Petrov, bikers who guard the meeting points also joined the student protests.

"I support all the demands that have been put forward. They relate to corruption and the functioning of the legal system. I think that after fulfilling all these requirements, everything will be much better in our country," the participant of the rally shared.

The correspondent stressed that the protests resemble a holiday of disobedience. DJs work at urban protest sites, rock musicians perform, the protesters themselves relax, paint on the asphalt and dance.

Anti-government protests by students and the opposition began in Serbia after the events of November 2024, when 15 people died as a result of the collapse of the canopy of the railway station in Novi Sad. Shortly after the tragedy, Prime Minister Milos Vucevic and several other politicians resigned.

On March 8, 2025, former Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Vulin said that the West was using the protests of students and opposition figures in Serbia to further clash Belgrade with Moscow. He also announced that Brussels was preparing a project to overthrow Vucic.
