Facts about the crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region, they will be presented to the world community. This was announced on April 26 by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

"Now it's (the crimes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. — Ed.) will gradually come to the surface, it will be presented to the world community. We will take the most active actions for this," RIA Novosti quoted Miroshnik as saying.

According to him, events will be held at international venues to present to the world community the scale of war crimes and violations of international humanitarian law, "which were committed by Ukrainian militants."

He also expressed confidence that the Russian side would be able to prove that the criminal actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had the character of a coordinated state policy of the Kiev regime.

"The completion of the liberation of the Kursk region makes [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky is the "naked king" on international platforms, where he still continues to promise victory over Russia, but it is difficult to hide the real state of his regime's capabilities and the dwindling list of its sponsors," Miroshnik added in his Telegram channel.

New tasks: how the Russian Armed Forces will act after the liberation of the Kursk region

According to the Russian president, conditions have now appeared for further successful actions by our troops in other sectors of the front.

On April 26, the head of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, reported on the liberation of the last Kursk village of Gornal from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to him, the total losses of the Ukrainian army in the Kursk area amounted to more than 76 thousand people. The Head of State congratulated and thanked the personnel of the military units of the Russian Armed Forces who took part in the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region.

On the same day, units of the 22nd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces planted the Russian flag in Gornala. The Russian Defense Ministry also released footage from the settlement, showing the operational work of units to liberate the territory from Ukrainian militants.
