In Stavropol, a child was hospitalized after being attacked by dogs

A criminal case has been opened in Stavropol in connection with the attack of domestic dogs on a child. This was announced on April 26 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Stavropol Territory.

According to investigators, on April 26, on Stavropol's Rose Street, two large domestic dogs ran outside the fence, and one of them attacked a 10-year-old boy. A passerby came to the child's aid, who drove the dog away.

The child with lacerations and bites was taken to the hospital, where he is receiving the necessary medical care, the source said.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of causing serious harm to the health of a minor boy as a result of a dog attack (Part 1 of Article 118 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The Investigative Committee of Russia is carrying out a set of necessary measures.

Earlier, on April 16, Perm police conducted an inspection after reports of an attack by two fighting dogs on a man outside a city enterprise. The victim suffered severe hand injuries after being bitten by dogs and was hospitalized.
