"The Embassy expresses its deep condolences to the friendly Iranian people and government in connection with the explosion at the port of Shahid Rajai," the Telegram channel says.

The explosion at the Shahid Rajai seaport in the city of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran became known earlier in the day. The blast wave was so strong that it severely damaged most of the buildings in the port, as well as cars. According to the latest data, 516 people were injured. At least four people were killed.
