The third round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States ended in Oman. This was reported by the IRNA news agency on April 26.

The Iranian negotiating group was headed by the country's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, and the American side was represented by US President Donald Trump's special envoy for the Middle East Stephen Witkoff.

"The third round of negotiations also included expert and technical discussions," the article says.

The second stage of negotiations between Iran and the United States on the nuclear program took place on April 19. The parties were also represented by Arakchi and Witkoff. Later, the American administration suggested that some progress had been made at the Rome meeting.

Later, on April 25, Trump expressed his willingness to support Israel in the event of an armed conflict with Iran. He clarified that he is also ready to meet with Iran's Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Peseshkian.
