A large-scale banking system failure has occurred in Ukraine

A major malfunction has paralyzed Ukraine's banking system. This was reported on April 26 by the local Channel 24.

Disruptions were observed in the operation of terminals in shops and the subway, as well as on all-Ukrainian online services.

According to the source, the reason for the failure is related to technical difficulties at the contractor and updates at the data center.

Earlier, on March 9, significant difficulties with Visa and Mastercard payments were recorded in Ukraine. In Kiev and other cities of the country, users could not pay with cards in supermarkets or make transfers through electronic applications.
