A fire in an apartment building in Astrakhan killed two women and injured a child.

In Astrakhan, two elderly women were killed and a child was injured in a fire in an apartment building. This was reported on April 26 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

"After the fire was localized, the body of a woman born in 1933 was found. A woman born in 1946, who lived on the floor above, also died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

According to SU SK, the injured child, born in 2013, was taken to the hospital.
